Economics
For success at economics, you need to master 4 major components: Sound understanding of economic theory, real world applications, analysis using chains of reasoning and evaluation of the theory. For AQA, these are the assessment objectives, also called AO1/2/3/4 respectively.
For AO1: I would highly recommend the youtuber ECONPLUSDAL, he simplifies the content perfectly in short, digestible videos.
For AO2: AO2 is the most under-revised part of the course. To learn how to use these in your essays, the youtuber TUTOR2U’s livestreams go into detail on the exam technique and provide topical examples.
For AO3: I would highly recommend ECONPLUSDAL’s revision workshops. Although requiring a fee, he gives expert advise on how to create sound chains of analysis in a 2 day exam blast.
For AO4: Watch ECONPLUSDAL’s videos explaining the “judgement” aspect of AO4, and then learn the typical evaluation points of each topic. AO4 is secretly also AO2, because you must use topical examples to help bolster your evaluation.
Combine this with full, timed, practice papers. Economics has one of the worst exam experiences due to the time pressure, so practice until you have a set exam strategy that works for you. You can mark them using Tutor2U’s ExaminerAI.
Good luck!
